I'd also add that the harmonies could be moving lines, rather than just parallel thirds. It's going to be a challenge to do an "upper" harmony at the beginning, since it jumps an octave. It's like — it's where she wants to escape to. It's Oz. It's over the rainbow. So, these two notes, Kansas and Oz, are going to turn out to be the key to the whole song, but you won't get their final meaning until the last notes of the song.
She continues to perform in the family band as well as her own band SqueezeBox, making music her full-time job. Mollie is making sure the music reaches the next generation. Her niece and nephew have jumped on the bandwagon, singing and dancing with the family.
