I would think that VOM would be required reading for Law Enforcement; VOM is definitely essential reading for the concealed weapons permit holder, because understanding these predators will put you into the proper mindset if that weapon becomes the only tool that will allow you to survive.
To those who prefer to live in a fantasy world where "everyone is good at heart", understand that your house of cards will collapse upon contact with a predator, and that you, and those who trust you, will not survive that contact unscathed. The biggest take away: you must try to avoid a fight in a every possible way, before engaging in one. Read your environment well and always try to be vigilant.
