He needs to be an impact player. Another guy with all the talent that is frustrating because you can't fully trust him. Some changes are going to need to be made before Game 3.
I don't know what those are exactly. I don't think Colliton will ever remove Nylander from the lineup. I don't think he can remove Strome. I also know that going with two lines and rotating in the Carpenter line isn't sustainable. The effort needs to be better from 17 and 92 if the Hawks are going to have a chance. That's the scary thing about this roster. There is no room for error or a night off. Maybe give Sikura some burn instead of Nylander. Those players aren't as talented as the guys they're replacing, but at least you know you'll get an honest effort and a lot of times in the playoffs that is what matters most.
Nobody was thinking the Hawks were going to sweep Edmonton. Hell, nobody ever really gave the Hawks a chance at all until after Game 1. I still believe in the group. I believe in my guys. Can they be good enough to push this series to the distance? We'll see. The Hawks have "home ice" next game which means they can dictate matchups with the last change. It'll be a big test for Colliton to see if he can push the right buttons to turn this ship back around.
See ya all on Wednesday night. Goal 4: McDavid double doink off of two Blackhawks and into the net. Again, not on Crawford Goal 5: Crawford mishandles the puck behind the net.
That is on Crawford. Let's start at the top --Jeremy Colliton We still like those two guys --Kubalik-Toews-Saad were beasting again. The Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese communities are well represented. The city is also famous for the Altstadt area. It is pedestrianised and dedicated to drinking establishments, breweries and restaurants. At the weekend, this part of the city could be a huge party area and used to attract stag and hen parties from all over Europe.
It has a dark ale-like colour but a pilsener, nutty flavour. Every brewery has its own take it and it is worth a pub crawl to try them all. There is also an Irish flavour to the Altstadt with many Irish bars.
The city, like the rest of Germany was more or less completely locked down for two months. Things are getting very much back to normal though, although the wearing of masks is still mandatory in shops etc.
Some businesses went bust over the period and will never return. The hotel and travel industry was also deeply affected. My office is situated very close to the airport. The restaurants and bars have opened up again, but have strict social distancing rules in place to protect the employees and the clientele. Nightclubs remain closed. Most people have been working from home-office for three months.
In addition, many businesses implemented short-time working, a system whereby the government pays up to 70 per cent of the earnings of an employee for up to a year. So far it seems that unemployment has not been a large factor, although the recovery here in September and October will be critical to seeing if this continues.
Also recently, the cases in the meatpacking industry highlighted the importance of clean air circulation. It is hoped that most employees will return to the office by August or September. I miss visiting my parents. Recently we have been Skyping as a family all four siblings and our parents and that has helped the situation a lot.
Psalm I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads. Psalm I am lowly and despised, but I do not forget Your precepts.
I will help you, declares the LORD. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. I yank out one earbud and look up. I smile too. I was sitting at that table over there and I felt God put it on my heart to pray for you. Could I pray for your healing to be able to walk?
No is a newer word in my vocabulary, and it gives me a surge of pride and guilt to use it now. I reach for my no word.
But who says no to a blessing? Lydia puts a hand on my shoulder; my stomach reaches for my throat. People are starting to look at us. Lydia begins her prayer.
Am I protecting her, or am I protecting myself? I stare at my reflection in the computer screen, feeling empty. Stop being dramatic, I think.
A sweet girl prayed a blessing for you. And yet, my throat tightens, and my eyes well. What are the rules? Human beings are complicated, and communication can be nuanced. You have to pay attention to the human person in front of you.
What signals are they giving you? What expression do you see on their face? Why exactly are we threatened by the proposition that we loosen our grip on this type of kindness?
